Commander’s Note
Greetings Victory Post 70,
It’s the first day of September, and we have a lot going on at
the Post this month. Come hang out with us, enjoy some good food
and entertainment, and beat those blazing temperatures outside.
Steak Dinner & Eastern Wing Band – This Friday
This Friday is our Steak Dinner, followed by
live music from Eastern Wing Band beginning at 7:00 PM.
Come out for dinner, stick around for the music, and spend
your Friday evening with us at Victory Post 70.

Victory Post 70 will be
closed Monday, September 7,
in observance of Labor Day.
We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday.
Annual Post Picnic & Tyler Hook Benefit Ride
Our Annual Post Picnic will be held
Saturday, September 12, beginning at noon.
The Post will be grilling out, so bring the family and spend
the afternoon enjoying some food and fellowship with everyone
at Victory Post 70.
That same day, Morristown Post 102 American Legion Riders,
along with our own Victory Post 70 American Legion Riders,
will be hosting a Benefit Ride for Tyler Hook.
For those who ride, the benefit will begin at
Morristown Post 102 at noon and will finish
at Victory Post 70.

Early Bird Breakfast – September 19
For everyone who has already renewed their
2027 membership dues, thank you!
Our Early Bird Breakfast will be held
Saturday, September 19 at 9:00 AM.
Come enjoy breakfast on us as our way of saying thank you
for renewing early.
If you have not renewed yet, you may also come into the Post
that morning, renew your membership, and be eligible for the
breakfast.
You may also renew your dues online using the appropriate

SAL Raffle
The Sons of the American Legion are currently raffling off a
Mossberg Model 500 12-gauge shotgun and a
Glock Model 43 9mm pistol.
For a chance to win one or both, please visit the Post Canteen.
Tickets are $10 each.
The drawing will be held immediately after all tickets have
been sold.
Taco Tuesday & Bar Bingo
Don’t forget, every Tuesday is
Taco Tuesday and Bar Bingo beginning at 5:00 PM!
Every week we continue to see new faces, so come in, grab
some tacos, play a few games, and enjoy the fun.
