Commander’s Note
Despite the sub-zero temperatures outside, I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start.
We are still accepting appointments for our second American Red Cross Blood Drive on
December 28th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, which counts toward our 250 Challenge.
As a thank-you, the American Red Cross will be providing donors with an
exclusive long-sleeved T-shirt while supplies last.
Register for the Blood Drive
This Saturday, we will be hosting our Annual Kids’ Christmas Party for registered children.
Later that evening, Rick and Randy will perform their acoustic set from
5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. If you haven’t seen them yet, I strongly encourage stopping by the Post.
Christmas is right around the corner, which means our annual Tom & Jerry’s will be available on
Christmas Eve. Come celebrate the holiday with us at the Post.
New Year’s Eve tickets are now available. Please see me or any Post officer to reserve your spot.
Dinner options include Prime Rib or Boneless Chicken, with entertainment provided by the
Eastern Wing Band.
Looking ahead, the ALR Annual Chili Cook-Off will take place on
January 11th. The cost is $10 to eat, and chili entries must be dropped off by
1:00 PM. Winners will be determined through blind judging.
